Avalanche struck famous Gulmarg, foreign tourist killed, another missing | KNO

A foreign tourist was killed and another is missing on Thursday after an avalanche struck at Upper Wat area of Gulmarg- the famous health resort place in Kashmir Valley. Official sources told news agency GNS that the incident occurred today afternoon when the foreigner tourists while skiing in the area. Two tourists came under the avalanche and one of them was so far evacuated to nearby hospital by the rescuers where he was declared brought dead. The slain tourist has been identified as Daniel from Sweden Searches are underway to trace out the missing one, they said. Additional Director General of Police (ADG) and Incharge IGP Kashmir Range Muneer Khan confirmed the incident
